Community Guidelines
Our groups work because people feel safe. These guidelines apply to every CSU space — WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and in-person circles.
Be kind
- Everyone's CSU is different. Listen, encourage, and don't judge.
- No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks.
Share experiences, not prescriptions
- You can say what helped you day to day — cotton clothes, a cool room, a symptom diary.
- Please don't recommend specific medicines, doses, brands or "cures". Moderators will remove these posts.
- For medical questions, talk to your doctor.
No selling or promotion
No advertising, sales, fundraising or promotion of products, clinics or services, including by companies or healthcare providers.
Protect privacy
- What is shared in the group stays in the group. Don't screenshot or forward others' messages.
- Don't share other people's photos, numbers or health details.
Side effects of medicines
If you mention a side effect from any medicine, a moderator may contact you. We are required to pass this safety information to the medicine's maker and/or the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). Your contact details are shared only if you agree. Please also tell your doctor.
Emergencies
Groups are not monitored around the clock. If you or someone else has throat or tongue swelling or difficulty breathing, call 112.
Moderation
Trained volunteer moderators may remove posts or members who break these guidelines. To report a concern, contact us.
